Validation

According to the eIDAS regulation, validation is a service relating to electronic signatures and seals, meaning the process of verifying and confirming the validity of an electronic signature or seal.

Validation is necessary to assess the integrity of electronically signed or electronically sealed documents, as well as to check the validity of certificates of electronic signatures and seals.

The purpose of the electronic signature validation service is to verify that the signatures bearing electronic documents are valid and have the legal force associated with the type of signature.
